All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device only:
- Debt records (names, amounts, currencies, dates, notes)
- Wallet transactions (amounts, categories, labels, notes)
- App settings and preferences
This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically by Third Parties
MoniTabs displays ads served by Google AdMob. When ads are displayed, Google may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
- IP address and approximate location
- Device type, OS version, and language
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

3. How We Use Information
We do not collect, process, or use your personal financial data — it never leaves your device.
The App uses Google AdMob solely to display advertisements, which allows us to offer the App free of charge.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage and Backups
All your financial data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device.
MoniTabs disables automatic system backups. No app data is automatically synced to Google Drive or any cloud service. All backup and restore is performed manually through the in-app Backup to File feature, which saves a local .json file to a location you choose.
4.2 Security
Your data is stored in the App's private storage, inaccessible to other apps. We recommend keeping your device protected with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob, which operates under its own privacy policy as described in Section 2.2.
6. Children's Privacy
MoniTabs is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will address the situation.
7. Your Rights
Because your financial data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You may:
- Edit or delete any record directly within the App
- Export your data using the Backup to File feature
- Delete all App data by uninstalling the App
For rights related to data collected by Google AdMob (such as opting out of personalized ads), please refer to your device's ad settings or Google's privacy controls.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
